The molded end cap acts as a gasket against the seal plates of the filter housing; eliminating the need for additional gaskets. The molded end seals also encapsulate the heavy duty steel cores and screen filter media to create a durable and long-lasting one-component construction. The crimped or rolled media provides an effective solution for large particle removal. Sidco’s wire mesh filters are cleanable at the job site; they can be cleaned, re-oiled, and reused.
